A Grounded Approach to Meaningful Moments

Most of the moments I photograph happen during some kind of change.

What draws me to this work isn’t just the milestone—it’s who you are in the middle of it.

That’s what I try to pay attention to.

Behind the Camera

I’m based in Lynchburg, Virginia, and much of my work centers around students, couples, and people in early seasons of life.

I’ve always been drawn to moments that feel real: nothing overdone, nothing forced, everything sentimental.

That carries into how I photograph.

In the hectic, I offer a calm presence, clear direction, and space for things to unfold naturally.

How I Approach Each Session

I think we all love that feeling when a friend shows us a stray photo they took while we weren’t looking. There’s something about the ease and carelessness of ourselves when we aren’t trying to be perfect.

My sessions are the same way; they’re about movement, connection, and the joy of becoming who you want to be.

I guide when needed, but the goal is never to take over. It’s to document something that already matters.

If That Resonates With You

There’s a good chance we’ll work well together.
