A designer who believes in becoming.
A design can become a cultural icon; a problem can become solved; history can become modern; a company can become a brand; a campaign can become lives changed. Design is meant to disrupt, shape, and alter; it’s meant to become.
A photographer who believes in being.
To compose photos takes time, rapport, and the openness to see something from a different angle. There’s a slowness and collaborative element that makes a photo go from a memory to a moment. Photos are so much more than stills— they can be mementos that remind us of where we’ve been, and that it is still okay to be.
That’s what I hold: a deep, profound belief that we have not arrived; that the goodness of life is found, not in the arrival, but in the being and the becoming. I just so happen to hold it through the means of design and photo.
If that sounds less like a rant and more like a conversation, I’d love to continue it. Please reach out to chat about how I can help in your being and becoming.
